The Ideal Media team has been living the dream with their Bronco Raptor shop truck, but it's time to face the harsh reality. In their own words, it hasn't all been "daisies and Roses." Sure, this beast of a vehicle turns heads wherever it goes, and it's got the power to match. With its 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine pumping out a whopping 418 horses, it's no wonder they fell in love with the raw power of this turbocharged marvel.
But let's not forget about the suspension. The Raptor's got Fox shocks with integrated reservoirs up front and remote reservoirs in the rear, giving it a monstrous 13 inches and 14 inches of travel respectively. And the live valve technology? It's like having an off-road genie at your command, adjusting the damping for optimal traction whether you're tearing up the trails or cruising on the pavement.
Now, I must say, the team has a soft spot for the interior of this bad boy. It's marine grade, which means it can handle a bit of a spill without breaking a sweat. And that 12-inch infotainment system? It's like having a cinema screen in your dashboard. The resolution on the backup camera is so good, you could film your own adult content with it. Not that I would condone such behavior, of course.
But alas, all good things must come to an end. The Bronco Raptor's width is wider than an F-150 Raptor, making it a bit of a challenge to maneuver. And those fender flares? Well, let's just say they're not winning any beauty contests. The fuel economy is nothing to write home about either, with an average of 12.7 miles per gallon. And let's not forget the price tag. These things are trading hands for an average of $103,000. That's a lot of money for a Ford truck.
So, with a heavy heart, the team has decided to part ways with their beloved Bronco Raptor. It's just too expensive and impractical for their everyday needs. But fear not, dear viewers, they're on the hunt for a worthy replacement. Something that's less expensive but still ideal. So, if you have any suggestions, be sure to let them know in the comments. Until then, keep living the ideal lifestyle, my friends.
