In a bold move that could only come from the mind of a mad genius, Rich Rebuilds decided to shoehorn a super bike engine into an old Volkswagen pickup truck. But that wasn't enough for him. No, he had to turbocharge it, mid-engine mount it, and make it paddle shifted. The sheer audacity of the project left everyone wondering if it would ever see the light of day. After facing numerous challenges and setbacks, including issues with oil flow to the turbo and multiple turbo replacements, Rich and his team refused to back down.
With the help of Mike and Megan, the engine underwent a complete overhaul to handle over 600 horsepower. Upgrades like Billet shift Forks, new Pistons, and race cut transmission gears were just the tip of the iceberg. Despite the hurdles they faced, the team soldiered on, determined to see their creation roar to life. The dyno run revealed more work was needed, but Rich remained undeterred, showcasing his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive innovation.
Throughout the journey, Rich emphasized the importance of the ecoflow Delta 3 plus and the ecoflow river 3 in powering their equipment in the shop. As they grappled with boost leaks and a cracked intake manifold, the team's resilience shone through. Despite the challenges and setbacks, Rich and his crew continued to defy the odds, proving that with determination and a touch of madness, anything is possible in the world of automotive engineering.
