Car Throttle's Porsche 924 project is proving to be a real headache for the team. But they're not giving up. They've got just 24 hours until the car goes on the dyno, and they're determined to fix it. First up, they need some new parts. They manage to get their hands on some wheels, tires, and suspension from DGT Wheels. The wheels are a bit of a challenge to find, but they finally get a set that fits perfectly. And they even throw in some hub spacers to make sure everything sits just right. With the new parts in hand, they're ready to tackle the rest of the project.
But before they can get started, they take a moment to thank their sponsor, NordVPN. They talk about the benefits of using NordVPN, like privacy and security on the internet, as well as the ability to bypass geo-restrictions. With that out of the way, it's time to focus on the car. The team dives into the suspension, which turns out to be a bit of a challenge to find for the 924. But they manage to get their hands on some custom-built coilovers and install them with the help of some friends. It's a tight fit, but they make it work.
While working on the car, they encounter a few more issues, like a faulty starter motor and some grounding problems. But they're not deterred. They fix everything and even replace the alternator belt for good measure. Finally, it's time to put the car to the test on the dyno. And the results are impressive. The car now produces 114 horsepower, a significant improvement from its previous 70 horsepower. The team is thrilled with the outcome and can't wait to take the car for a spin.
