In this episode of The Hamilton Collection, we are treated to a rare sight: a 2012 Lexus LFA in the stunning sunset orange color. But this isn't just any LFA, my friends. No, this is one of only three in existence with this vibrant hue, and it's even more exclusive because it's one of only two LFAs equipped with the fog light option. The other one? Well, that belongs to the CEO of Lexus himself, who ordered this particular car for a lucky friend.

Now, I must admit, I've never been this close to an LFA before, and the anticipation is killing me. I've heard whispers that this car has the best sound in the world, and I'm eager to find out if it lives up to the hype. You see, I have a bit of a reputation for buying cars on a whim, falling in love with them, and then ending up purchasing them. Just ask my Remac. So, today, we'll see if this Lexus LFA has what it takes to steal my heart.

But before we get behind the wheel, let's take a moment to appreciate some of the mind-boggling details of this high-performance machine. Take a look at that hood, for instance. At first glance, it may appear slightly ajar, but that's actually an air intake, my friends. Yes, right in the middle, there's a little duct that helps feed the engine, which, by the way, is positioned almost mid-mounted. And those fog lights? Only two in the entire world, and they're right here on this beauty.

Now, let's talk about the rear end. It's a thing of beauty, with those three exhaust tips sitting proudly in the center. And did you know that only 500 LFAs were ever made? That's right, folks. This car is as rare as they come, and it carries a price tag of around a million dollars. But this particular LFA is even more special because of its unique combination of features and its intriguing backstory.

As we take a closer look, we can't help but admire the tasteful Brixton Forge wheels that adorn this Lexus LFA. And let me tell you, I'm a sucker for orange. In fact, my Bugatti and Rolls-Royce both have orange interiors. Perhaps it's time for me to add an orange car to my collection, and this LFA might just be the one. I want to extend my gratitude to Tyler of Phoenix for allowing me the opportunity to test drive this rare gem. Rest assured, I'll take extra good care of it. Well, maybe not, but you get the idea.

Now, it's time to unleash the beast. This car hasn't been started in a while, so brace yourself for a cold start. This will be the moment of truth, the first time I'll hear that legendary engine roar to life. And let me tell you, it sounds like a Toyota. But don't let that fool you, my friends. This is a V10 naturally aspirated motor with over 500 horsepower, and it's ready to show us what it's made of on the open road.

As we hit the road, I can't help but notice the unique seat belts with built-in airbags. It's an interesting safety feature, although I'm not sure if it makes me feel safer or less safe. But let's focus on the driving experience, shall we? The single clutch transmission presents a challenge, but once we start moving, the sound of the engine becomes more enticing. It's aggressive, it's exhilarating, and it's everything I hoped it would be.

Now, I must admit, the speed may not be mind-blowing, but the comfort and smoothness of this LFA more than make up for it. The seats are incredibly comfortable, possibly the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a sports car. And the steering wheel, wrapped in soft leather, feels just right in my hands. The Japanese certainly know how to build a quality car, and this Lexus LFA is no exception.

As we continue our drive, I can't help but appreciate the user interface of the car. It's a familiar sight, reminiscent of other Lexus models I've owned. It's comforting to know that even in a million-dollar car, the interface remains consistent. And let's not forget the brakes, which are absolutely fantastic. A quick brake check confirms their responsiveness and effectiveness.

Now, let's talk about storage space, or rather, the lack thereof. This LFA isn't meant for hauling luggage or groceries. It's a purebred performance machine, designed to thrill and excite. So, if you're in the market for ample storage, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you're after exclusivity, rarity, and a car that will turn heads wherever you go, then the Lexus LFA might just be the perfect choice.

In conclusion, my friends, this Lexus LFA is a true gem. It may not be the fastest car on the market, but it's a masterpiece in its own right. The combination of its unique features, rarity, and that unmistakable sound make it a desirable addition to any collection. So, keep your eyes peeled for a smoking deal on an LFA, because dreams do come true. And who knows, maybe one day, this stunning machine will find its way into my garage.
