In this review by Savagegeese, we dive into the Ram RHO, the successor to the beloved TRX. Priced just above $69,000, this beast packs a punch with its 540hp Hurricane inline 6 engine. While the exterior sports new headlamps and updated fascias, the interior shines with heated, cooled, and massaging seats. However, the infotainment system falls short with its sluggish performance. On the road, the RH offers a smooth ride, outshining the Raptor V6 with its well-calibrated gearbox.
Under the hood, the RH boasts a twin-turbo inline 6 Hurricane engine, delivering over 500 ft-lbs of torque. Equipped with Bilstein Blackhawk E2 adaptive dampers and a Borg Warner transfer case, this truck is ready to tackle any terrain. Off-road enthusiasts will appreciate the 14 inches of wheel travel in the back. While the RH may feel larger and less refined than the Raptor on the road, its capabilities shine in off-road environments.
Despite lacking the sheer charisma of its predecessor, the TRX, the RH holds its own against the Raptor V6. The refined i6 engine and comfortable interior make it a strong contender in the luxury truck segment. With plans for a head-to-head comparison in the future, Savagegeese leaves us eagerly anticipating more in-depth insights into the RH's performance. Overall, the Ram RHO impresses with its power, comfort, and off-road prowess, making it a worthy successor to the TRX.
