In this latest installment from the StanceWorks team, they bring us up to speed on their ongoing projects. First up is the Ferrari, and they've got some exciting changes in store. They're swapping out the K24 engine for a K20, a move that may seem counterintuitive at first, but it's all about longevity and reliability. By going with a smaller displacement engine, they can run more boost and achieve better performance on the track. They're also planning to install a smaller turbo to improve power delivery and overall performance. With some tweaks to the engine mounts and plumbing, they're confident that the Ferrari will be ready to dominate the track.
Moving on to the Audi, the team admits that progress has been a bit slower due to some missing engine pieces. Once they have all the necessary components, they can start building the engine, wiring it up, and getting it closer to completion. In the meantime, they've been busy putting together the suspension and other parts, including a custom set of BBS RMS 15-inch wheels that they stumbled upon. These wheels, combined with some Falcon tires, will surely give the Audi a killer look.
As for the E30, the team has been enjoying it as their daily driver. It's been a blast to drive, with plenty of power and a fun factor that keeps them excited. They do have a couple of minor issues to address, such as a small fluid leak and a clunk in the front suspension. However, they're confident that these can be easily resolved, and they're looking forward to putting on the new 15-inch wheels and Falcon RT615K tires to give the E30 an even more aggressive stance.
Last but not least, we have the Model A. The team has made significant progress on the chassis, steering, and control arms. They're waiting on some parts to arrive, but once they do, they'll be able to complete the build and give the Model A a fresh coat of paint. However, despite their love for this unique hot rod, they've made the difficult decision to sell it in order to fund their next big project. They're tight-lipped about the details of this new endeavor, but they promise that it will be bigger, better, and crazier than anything they've done before. So, stay tuned for more updates and prepare for some jaw-dropping automotive madness from the StanceWorks team.
