Mat from the automotive youtube channel is back with another exciting car modification project! This time, Mat is taking a luxury Audi RS6 and transforming it into a show-stopping custom car build. In just one week, Mat has to fit a body kit, alloys, and a lot of hard work to get the car ready for one of the biggest car shows ever.
In the first step of the project, Mat has to fit the body kit for real, making sure that the arch fits flush all the way around the car. To do this, Mat drills holes in the front arch of the body kit and the bumper and uses nut and bolts to pull it together. He also adds a Riv nut to the back of the wing to screw a bolt directly into the wing.
Next, Mat has to make room for the new wheels by cutting out part of the rear quarter. He masks up the area and cuts it out, then smooths the edges. He also has to pinch up the Gap between the outer skin and the inner skin, but since he doesn't have time to weld it, he goes a bit overkill with the bolts to make sure the body kit stays on.
Finally, Mat is ready to put the car on a shipping container and send it off to Vegas for the car show. With a lot of hard work and dedication, Mat has managed to transform the luxury Audi RS6 into a show-stopping custom car build. Tune in to the automotive youtube channel for more car modifications, automotive reviews, car maintenance tips, vehicle restoration, performance tuning, car DIY projects, aftermarket parts, luxury cars, and auto detailing.
