In this episode of Seen Through Glass, our host has finally acquired his dream car, a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. But before he can hit the road, he takes it to AV Engineering for a thorough inspection. And let me tell you, folks, this mechanic, ERS, has an eye for detail like no other. He spots every little issue and doesn't hold back.
From misaligned steering wheels to corrosion, this car has seen better days. The front bumper is all out of whack, the wiper blades are a disaster, and the window regulators need some serious adjustment. But it's not all bad news, folks. The mechanical aspects of the car are actually in pretty good shape. The engine is dry, the cam seals and valve cover gaskets are all good, and there's no major leakage. That's a relief!
But there's still work to be done. The rear tires are a whopping 10 years old and need to be replaced ASAP. And let's not forget about those pesky calipers that are binding. It's a common issue with these Brembo calipers, and it's causing the wheels to be extremely difficult to turn. But fear not, our trusty mechanic is on the case and will free them up before our host hits the road.
Overall, it's been a mixed bag for our host and his newly acquired Ferrari. While there are some cosmetic and mechanical issues that need attention, the car is still drivable and has a lot of potential. With the help of AV Engineering, our host will be able to address these issues and turn his dream car into a true gem on the road. Stay tuned for the next episode, where we'll see the progress made on this beautiful machine.
