In the sunny state of Florida, Freddy Tarish welcomes us to his workshop where he's been working tirelessly on his McLaren P1. This particular P1 has quite the story to tell, having been damaged in a hurricane last year. But fear not, because Freddy is determined to bring this once-flooded hypercar back to life.
Last time we saw this P1, it was in a sorry state, but now, after extensive repairs and upgrades, it's looking better than ever. Freddy has transformed it into a P1 Evo, taking inspiration from the mighty P1 GTR race car. With its larger ducting and unique herringbone weave, this P1 Evo is a sight to behold.
But the changes don't stop there. Freddy has made the bold decision to remove the hybrid system, turning the P1 Evo into a pure internal combustion engine beast. This means it'll be lighter and more powerful, with a whopping 1,300 horsepower under the hood. And let's not forget the bespoke turbos and the unobtainium exhaust that will make this car sound truly exotic.
Inside the workshop, we see the stripped-down interior of the P1 Evo. Every panel has been meticulously prepped and clear-coated to give it a glossy finish. Freddy's attention to detail is evident in every aspect of this project. The carbon tub has been repaired and is ready for the next stage of the restoration.
Freddy's passion for cars is palpable, and his dedication to this project is commendable. The McLaren P1 Evo is a testament to his love for the iconic McLaren F1 and his desire to create something truly special. With SEMA just around the corner, we can't wait to see this P1 Evo in all its glory, ready to take on the world with its incredible power and speed.
