It's time for carwow to put two of the world's most powerful cars head-to-head in a drag race. On one side we have the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, the same car that holds the record for the fastest production car in the world. On the other side we have the Tesla Model S Plaid Track Pack. Both cars are packed with power, but which one will come out on top?

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is a beast. It has an 8-liter quad turbo 16-cylinder engine that puts out an incredible 1600 horsepower and 1600 newton meters of torque. It's also quite heavy, weighing in at 1995 kilos, and it's not cheap either - with taxes, you're looking at around four million pounds. But it can do a certified 273 miles an hour, and the record-breaking car actually did 305 miles an hour.

The Tesla Model S Plaid Track Pack is no slouch either. It has 1020 horsepower and 1420 newton meters of torque, and it's slightly lighter than the Bugatti at 2190 kilos. It's also a lot more expensive, coming in at around 135,000 pounds. It has three motors, all-wheel drive, and a single-speed gearbox, and it launches like crazy - just lift off the brake and you're off.
