It's hard to believe that it was only back in March that StanceWorks received a call from their friends at Haltech and with it an invitation to come to Sydney Australia to compete in the World Time Attack Challenge. With less than 100 days to transform a car that had never been driven into a competition-ready race car, the StanceWorks team was off to LAX to board a 17-hour flight to make a dream come true.
After a tumultuous start, the team made it onto the plane with their spares package for the Ferrari, but not without a few crafty decisions to get the weight under the limit. After a long night of travel, the StanceWorks team was in Sydney and ready to get to business.
The team stopped into the local Hammer Barn to pick up all the stuff they had to throw away at the airport and a few things they figured would be easier to buy down under. With some touristy stuff out of the way, the team was off to the track to finally get a look at the Ferrari and see what kind of condition it was in. After two months at sea, the StanceWorks team was ready to get to work and make their dream a reality.
