The modification process includes tackling challenges such as adapting the fuel hanger to fit the Rav 4, navigating around a unique jet pump arrangement.
Moving on to the intercooling phase, the team plans to mount the intercooler on top to optimize airflow, utilizing a non-functional scoop for a functional purpose. Boost control becomes a priority as they work on setting up a Mac valve to manage the wastegate effectively. The process of replacing the clutch involves a meticulous strip-down of the top, gearbox removal, and installation of an upgraded clutch to handle the power output of the revamped system.
With the fuel system upgraded and new components installed, the team focuses on wiring additional sensors like air temp and flex sensors, along with oil pressure and temperature gauges.
