Today on 1320video, we find ourselves at Gainesville Raceway for day four of Sick Week 2025, a part of the grueling Dragon Drive event that sees cars racing at four different tracks in just five days. The challenge? Drive between each track, accumulating over 1,000 miles on the street by the end of the week. It's the automotive equivalent of a marathon, pushing both man and machine to their limits. The competition is fierce, with cars boasting up to 4,000 horsepower battling it out on the drag strip.
In the midst of this high-octane action, we meet Sam and his F-150, aiming to break into the 10-second range with some clever tuning, including a new pulley setup. Meanwhile, a Dodge Ram with a Hurricane engine, similar to the one seen in a Dakota earlier, sets its sights on a 1050 ET. Jack Stand Jimmy faces a tire mishap but remains undeterred, eyeing a blistering 970 run. And then there's Cletus, determined to crack the elusive nine-second barrier with his impressive machine.
As the day unfolds, we witness Alex Taylor and Brant Goldstone putting down some seriously quick times, showcasing the true potential of their high-performance rides. Dave Schroeder is also in the mix, looking to go even faster after a solid 686 ET. And all the way from Sweden, Team Ratchet Strap makes their mark with a repaired intake manifold, ready to tackle the challenges of the track. But it's the thundering Hemi-powered Chevy known as Blasphemy that steals the show, roaring to an impressive 888 ET after overcoming clutch issues that have plagued them all week.
