In the latest episode from the throtl channel, the team takes on the daunting task of resurrecting an abandoned Ferrari F355. This beauty has been sitting idle for over a decade, but the guys are determined to bring it back to life. They've already put in the hard work of detailing every inch of the car and performing essential maintenance tasks like replacing spark plugs, ignition wires, timing belts, and the entire wiring harness. Now, it's time for the moment of truth - getting that engine back in and firing it up.

With careful precision, they lower the chassis onto the rear subframe, ensuring that everything is aligned just right. They're taking no chances, as they don't want any mishaps with wiring harnesses or any other little details. And let me tell you, they're not just focused on the Ferrari. They've got a fantastic Black Friday through Cyber Monday sale happening on their website, where you can save big on car parts, merchandise, and even have a chance to win a Liberty Walk Nissan Z and a cool $20,000. It's a deal you don't want to miss.

But back to the Ferrari. Once the engine is securely in place, the team starts connecting all the necessary components - fluid lines, radiator hoses, oil lines, and electrical connections. They're meticulous in their approach, making sure everything is done right. They're also aware of a notorious issue with the exhaust manifolds on these cars - they tend to crack and cause fiery disasters. So, they take the proactive step of removing the manifolds and reinforcing them to prevent any future catastrophes. Safety first, after all.

With most of the engine work completed, it's time to prime the motor. They drain the gas tank and add fresh oil, ensuring that everything is ready for that crucial first start. But before they can do that, they discover a damaged wiring harness that needs to be repaired. Once that's taken care of, they proceed to add oil and prepare to fire up the engine. There are a few hiccups along the way, like issues with the starter and oil pressure gauge, but they persevere. Eventually, the engine roars to life, and the team can't help but celebrate this major milestone.

However, they're not done yet. There's still plenty of work to be done, including addressing wiring issues and putting the car back together. But the throtl team is undeterred. They're excited about the progress they've made, and they can't wait to get behind the wheel of this classic Ferrari. It's been a labor of love, and they're determined to see it through to the end. Stay tuned for the next episode, where they'll continue their journey of resurrecting this magnificent machine.
