The Range Rover V, the second cheapest in the Range Rover lineup, has received some updates to its exterior, interior, and technology. Land Rover has made changes to the design, including removing the "Land Rover" badge from the back, giving it a sleeker look. The tail lamps now have a 3D effect, and the headlights have a multi-pixel design with jewel-like daytime running lights. The lower bumper and alloy wheel designs have also been revamped, with options ranging from 19 to 22 inches.

Inside the car, the most noticeable change is the new curved infotainment screen, which, although large, has a somewhat confusing layout and dull graphics. The climate control buttons have been integrated into the screen, making it less intuitive to use. The gear selector has been moved to the center, but it lacks the charm of the previous wheel design. The overall interior design is not as impressive as that of a BMW X3, and the touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel can be confusing.

In terms of practicality, the back seats offer decent knee and headroom, but carrying three people at once can be a bit tight due to the narrow middle seat and limited footwell space. Fitting a baby seat is relatively easy, with accessible ISOFIX anchor points. The boot has a capacity of 550 liters, slightly larger than its competitors, but falls short compared to the Mercedes GLC. The lack of a load lip makes it easier to slide items in and out, but folding the rear seats requires some maneuvering.

While the Range Rover V has its annoyances, such as recessed windscreen wipers and a missing low range gearbox, it excels in off-road capabilities. Land Rover has included various off-road modes and improved wading depth, making it a capable choice for those venturing off the beaten path. Despite its flaws, the Range Rover V remains a luxurious and comfortable SUV, with its updated design and technology enhancements.
