It's the ultimate head-to-head test: Porsche's hypercar, the 918 Spider, vs the current 911 992 Turbo S that's been given a mild tune. Mat from carwow is going to find out which is quickest in a drag race by pitting them against each other over the standing quarter mile.

The 918 Spider has a 4.6 liter natural aspirated V8 engine with two electric motors, 887 horsepower and 1280 newton meters of torque. It was in production between 2013 and 2015 and would have cost you just under £800,000 pounds. The 911 992 Turbo S has been given a mild tune, with a 3.8 liter twin turbo Flat 6 engine, 650 horsepower and 800 newton meters of torque. With the tune, it has 888 brake horsepower and 1000 newton meters of torque and weighs 1640 kg. It cost Jamie from Officially Gassed £190,000 pounds secondhand and is now worth £180,000.
