In this thrilling video from Larry Chen, we are introduced to a beast of a machine: the modified R33 GTR. Larry wastes no time in expressing his excitement for this car, which has been a year in the making. The team behind this creation has taken inspiration from the legendary 400R, but they've put their own unique spin on it.
The exterior of the car has been kept mostly stock, with the addition of Nismo body parts that give it a more aggressive and aerodynamic look. The custom Titan 7 wheels and Stop Tech brakes add to the overall performance and style of the car.
But the real star of the show is the transmission. Larry describes it as a "feature" and it's easy to see why. The G-Force GSR transmission with an air shifter system allows for lightning-fast gear changes and flat shifting. This means that the driver can keep their foot on the gas pedal while shifting gears, resulting in seamless acceleration.
Under the hood, the car boasts a 2.8L RB26 engine built by Greddy, pumping out a staggering 700 horsepower. Larry is clearly impressed by the power and the sound of the engine, which is enhanced by the Greddy exhaust system.
Inside the car, the team has kept things relatively simple, with a few upgrades like a Pioneer head unit and a harness bar. The focus is on performance and functionality, and the car delivers in spades.
