Welcome back to 1320video, where the action is hotter than a jalapeno on a summer's day! We're here at Maryland International Raceway for the Import Domestic World Cup Finals, and let me tell you, it's one of the biggest events of the year. This year, they're doing something different - daily coverage! That's right, you'll get a video from Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, right here. Now, we missed Thursday's number one qualifier, but we're here for Friday and boy, are we in for a treat!
First up, we've got the all motor second qualifier, followed by the third qualifier later in the day. And let me tell you, there's some crazy stuff happening on the racetrack this weekend. We've got cars in all colors of the rainbow, from the mesmerizing Dupont Chrome Illusion Blue Steel to the mystic Ford Mystic Chrome. And speaking of mesmerizing, there's a Viper on the property that's got everyone's jaws dropping. It's called "The Spare" and it's a full chassis Pro Mod beast with a Steve Morris engine. Ned Duny, the owner, just finished Drag Week and now he's here to show off his creation.
But it's not just about the cars, it's about the weather too. It's so cold out here, you could freeze a polar bear's knickers off! But that's great news for drag racing, because the cold temperatures mean the track conditions are perfect. And the organizers are reminding all the drivers to put some heat in their motors before hitting the track. Safety first, folks!
We've got a stacked lineup of drivers, including John Odum from the No Prep Kings TV show, who's back for his second year at World Cup. And let's not forget the Super Street class, where the Honda boys are pushing their machines to the limit. It's taking a bit longer to get through this class, but trust me, it's worth the wait.
And finally, we've got the Outlaw versus Extreme class, where the big boys play. These cars are faster than a cheetah on roller skates! The current number one qualifier is sitting at a blistering 567, but there are plenty of contenders ready to snatch that top spot.
So buckle up, folks, because we're about to witness some of the most intense racing action you've ever seen. Stay tuned for more updates from the Import Domestic World Cup Finals right here on 1320video!
