Hoovies Garage, the channel known for its automotive misadventures, provides an update on the much-anticipated Hoovies Garage 3.0. This project, which was supposed to be completed by Christmas, has faced numerous delays and setbacks. Despite the initial excitement, all that stands on the site is a bare concrete pad, devoid of any progress for the past two months. It's a rather sorry sight, to say the least.

The plan was to construct a 60x100 structure, a spacious haven for all of Hoovies' cars and a place to film his automotive escapades. However, the building that was ordered and partially paid for turned out to be just the steel skeleton, lacking the essential exterior siding and insulation. It's a frustrating situation, as Hoovies Garage had paid in full for the entire building, only to receive a fraction of what was expected. The blame was placed on a variety of factors, from a perceived lack of dry storage space to a waitlist for other buildings. The excuses piled up, leaving Hoovies Garage with a crusty, corroded steel structure instead of a fully functional garage.

Despite the disappointment with the building progress, there have been some positive developments on the farm. Construction on a new addition to the house has been underway, with the aim of creating a proper master bedroom and a spacious living room. The original charm of the 1895-built house has been preserved, while adding modern amenities and increasing the overall size. The farm's pond is also receiving attention, with plans to drain, dig out, and refill it to create a deeper and more aesthetically pleasing feature. Additionally, efforts have been made to enhance privacy by planting trees along the berms.

However, the lack of covered parking remains a significant challenge, especially as Hoovies Garage is losing a space that was initially thought to be available. The hoopy hanger is currently bursting at the seams with cars, leaving little room to maneuver. The muddy conditions on the farm have made it difficult to drive the vehicles home, resulting in neglect and limited opportunities for enjoyment. The hope is that construction on Hoovies Garage 3.0 will finally commence in early to mid-January, bringing an end to the delays and providing a much-needed space to house the growing fleet of cars.
