The Fast Lane Car is here in Detroit to give you a hands-on experience with the most extreme Ford Mustang ever made. The Ford Mustang GTD is a car that has presence. It's wider, bigger, and has active aerodynamics, special wheels and tires, special suspension, and special brakes. Ford took everything they knew and worked with multimatic and other smart people to create this ultimate Mustang that can also be a race car, but is still street legal.

The car has an 800 horsepower supercharged engine and a 5.2 liter engine, and a titanium exhaust. It also has a DRS drag reduction system wing in the back and active aero flaps underneath the car, as well as carbon ceramic brakes and gigantic calipers. The car has a perfect 50/50 weight distribution and staggered tire sizes. The interior looks like a street car, with a dashboard, screens, gauges, and supportive seats. It also has a full-on hydraulic control system in the trunk to control the DRS system and aerodynamics.

Viewer Reactions for Shocking Price: The New $300,000 Ford Mustang GTD Will Blow Your Mind

The Fast Lane Car's new video has viewers impressed with the look of the car, but are shocked by the hefty price tag. Some viewers are comparing it to other cars in its class, such as the Porsche GT3 RS, and others are wondering what kind of cars it would cross shop with, such as the Lamborghini Huracan. Some are also pointing out the engineering and materials that went into the car, and how it makes the price more understandable. However, there are also those who think the price is too high, and that Ford should focus on making more affordable cars. Others are pointing out that Ford has been making cars like this since the 1964 GT40, and that if they could sell a Corvette for $500k, they would. Finally, some are just excited to drive the car in Forza on the Xbox.
