Welcome to Seen Through Glass, where today we embark on an epic European road trip with a pair of Porsche GT3s. Our fearless host and his trusty sidekick Tony are taking their machines to the limit as they head to the Red Bull Ring in Austria for a thrilling track day. But before they reach their destination, they encounter a series of unexpected challenges and exciting adventures.
From the start, it's clear that these GT3s may look similar, but they are worlds apart. Our host's car boasts a manual transmission, while Tony's is equipped with an automatic. The differences continue with the seats, as our host enjoys the comfort of his, while Tony sits in the full bucket seats. Carbon fiber accents and a roll cage adorn Tony's GT3, adding to its aggressive appeal.
As they make their way through the picturesque roads of Europe, our dynamic duo encounters a crack in the windshield and a drive shaft mishap, causing a delay in their journey. But now, they're back on the road, ready to conquer the twists and turns that lie ahead.
Their first stop is the B mine Hotel in Frankfurt, a unique establishment where cars are parked on balconies. The view is breathtaking, with planes taking off and the Autobahn in sight. The room is spacious and comfortable, providing the perfect setting to relax and admire their beloved GT3s.
As they continue their adventure, they explore the back roads of Germany, encountering a classic car meet and stumbling upon a parade of vintage tractors. The roads may not always be perfect, but the thrill of the drive keeps them going. Finally, they arrive in Stuttgart, the home of Porsche. They visit the iconic Porsche Museum and get a glimpse of the brand's storied past.
