In the latest episode of Shmee150's adventures, he is back at Carnage HQ in Orange County, California, and boy, does he have some epic cars to show us! But the star of the show, of course, is his beloved Ford Mustang Dark Horse. After a long hiatus, Shmee is finally ready to take this American beast out for a spin. But before he can hit the road, there's a small matter of getting the proper license plate on the car. Who knew that temporary tags were a thing in the States? Well, now he's got the correct plate and it's time to get this show on the road.
With the Dark Horse's engine roaring, Shmee sets off on a journey to San Diego, where he's got some modifications planned for his Mustang. Along the way, he can't help but admire the other jaw-dropping cars around him. From the McLaren Senna GTR to the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, it's a petrolhead's dream come true. But let's not forget about his own little slice of American muscle. The Dark Horse may not be the fastest or the flashiest, but it's got that classic charm that never goes out of style.
As Shmee cruises down the Pacific Ocean, he reflects on the differences between the Dark Horse and the GT500. While the GT500 may have more power and advanced technology, there's something special about the Dark Horse's manual gearbox and naturally aspirated V8 engine. It's a reminder that true driving pleasure doesn't always come from sheer horsepower. But of course, no journey is without its hiccups. The laggy Android Auto system and a tire pressure sensor fault try to dampen the mood, but Shmee takes it all in stride.
Finally, Shmee arrives at Ceramic Pro Elite in San Diego, where his Dark Horse will receive a ceramic coating to protect it from the elements. He meets with the team and is surrounded by an array of stunning cars. It's a petrolhead's paradise. But the real highlight of the visit is the demonstration of the window tint's heat-reducing properties. Shmee is impressed by the technology and realizes the importance of protecting his car from the scorching California sun.
