The DDE team finds themselves in a race against time as they work tirelessly to prepare the Ferrari 550 for its new owner. With a laundry list of tasks to complete, including installing the air conditioning and heating system, wrapping the dash and door panels, and addressing missing parts, the pressure is on. But, there's a catch. The F12 project for SEMA is looming, and they simply can't afford to divert all their attention to the 550.
Enter Mike, the man with the plan. He steps up to the plate, armed with his knowledge of the F12, and vows to tackle the daunting task of getting it ready for the big show. However, there's a slight hitch. Some crucial parts are missing, making the job even more challenging. Undeterred, they decide to order the necessary components using Dave's credit card, much to his unknowing dismay. After all, desperate times call for desperate measures.
As they eagerly await the arrival of the parts, the team faces yet another hurdle. The installation of the air conditioning unit in the 550 proves to be more complicated than anticipated. The handbrake master cylinders are causing a major interference, jeopardizing the entire operation. But fear not, for these resourceful individuals refuse to be defeated. Through some clever maneuvering and a fair share of trial and error, they manage to find a solution that allows everything to fit snugly into place.
With the 550 crisis averted (for now), the team shifts their focus back to the F12. Progress is made on the roll cage, and plans are set in motion to gut the doors and install door bars. The excitement is palpable as they inch closer to their goal. DDE invites viewers to join them on this thrilling journey, promising a twin-turbo V12, fire-spitting, tire-burning spectacle that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
