Adam LZ is embarking on an audacious project: building a safari R32 GTR. Inspired by a rally GTR in Japan and WhistlinDiesel's off-road antics, Adam sets out to create the ultimate off-road beast. He manages to find a GTR without an engine for a mere $10,000, and with the help of his RB specialist, Sean, they gather the necessary parts from Tommy's restoration business in Connecticut.
The team wastes no time in assembling the car, and even gives the engine bay and fender liners a quick paint job. They encounter a snowstorm during the process, adding an unexpected twist to their adventure. With the car complete, they bring it back to Florida for bodywork and preparation for wrapping.
The moment of truth arrives as they visit RP to see the car in its new super gloss Olive wrap. The result is stunning, with the vinyl wrap resembling a high-quality paint job. Adam takes the opportunity to showcase the engine and discuss the modifications, including a Gen 2 Garrett GTX 3576r turbo. While they don't delve into the off-road specific mods in this video, they promise to cover them in the next installment.
Adam LZ's safari R32 GTR project is a testament to his passion for pushing boundaries and creating unique builds. With the car now wrapped and the engine modified, it's clear that this off-road beast is ready to conquer any terrain. Stay tuned for the next episode, where Adam will reveal the full extent of the off-road modifications and put the safari GTR to the ultimate test.
