On this thrilling episode of B is for Build, the team takes on the monumental task of transforming a mere dream into a majestic reality - a 44ft long, 12ft wide pontoon yacht with a luxurious double-decker design. With an INF floor and a hot tub seamlessly integrated into the front, this vessel is nothing short of spectacular. But before they can bask in the glory of their creation, the team dives headfirst into the nitty-gritty work of flooring.
Screws are meticulously driven into the wood underneath, ensuring a solid foundation for what's to come. Wood putty is expertly applied to fill in any imperfections, followed by a generous coat of polyester resin to waterproof the entire structure. The installation of electrical conduits using PVC tubing adds a touch of functionality to the boat, while adjustments to bolts prepare the surface for the upcoming carpeting process.
With precision and determination, the team embarks on the challenging task of carpet installation, facing obstacles due to the carpet's width. Through careful planning and strategic maneuvering, they conquer the complexities of gluing down the carpet in sections, ultimately achieving a flawless finish. The next day brings a fresh set of challenges as they tackle the second piece of carpet, narrowly avoiding disaster and emerging victorious in their quest for perfection.
