In the wild world of high-performance off-road trucks, the 2025 RAM Rho has emerged as a contender, succeeding the mighty TRX. With 540 horsepower from a twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine, the Rho may not match the TRX's 700+, but it comes at a significantly lower price point, making it a tempting option for enthusiasts. This beast can do 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds, tow nearly 8400 lb, and offers improved fuel economy, thanks to its smaller engine.
Off-road capabilities are where the Rho truly shines, with standard four-wheel drive, 35-inch all-terrain tires, and Bilstein suspension providing the necessary tools for tackling rough terrain. The truck's design features wide fender flares, steel bumpers with recovery hooks, and a retractable step in the bumper for added practicality. With 14 in of wheel travel in the back, 13 in up front, and 12 in of ground clearance, the Rho is ready to take on any challenge.
Inside, the Rho boasts a luxurious interior with leather upholstery and rho-specific upgrades, including launch control and customizable drive modes. The massive vertical main screen offers seamless integration with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a high-quality camera system. Performance Pages provide detailed data, while the configurable gauge cluster screen ensures that drivers have all the information they need at their fingertips. Additionally, the passenger-side screen allows passengers to enjoy movies, adding a touch of luxury to the off-road experience.
