2024 Lexus TX 500hf Sport: A Powerful and Luxurious Hybrid SUV Review

The Straight Pipes have gotten their hands on the 2024 Lexus TX 500hf sport, a hybrid SUV with a turbocharged 2.4L engine that pumps out a combined 366 horsepower and 46 lb-ft of torque. It's the three-row version of the RX, but it looks substantially different and dare I say, better. The front end is dominated by a big, long grille that blends seamlessly into the bumper, giving it a unique and aggressive look. The team at The Straight Pipes are particularly fond of the front design, so much so that they plan on using it for their thumbnail.
But let's not forget that the Lexus TX is more than just a pretty face. It offers different models, including a base model, a 350, a 500h (the one they have), and a 550 H+ plug-in hybrid. The team took it for a spin through the cliche corner and found it to be pretty fast and well-handling, thanks in part to the F Sport performance package and rear-wheel steering. The suspension is fantastic, with adaptive dampers that change based on the drive mode. And let's not forget about the all-wheel drive system, which is fully electric in the rear.
Moving on to the interior, the Lexus TX doesn't disappoint. The seats are incredibly comfortable, and the materials used throughout the cabin are top-notch. The team also praised the wireless charger and the availability of heated and cooled seats. The car also comes with a host of safety features, including adaptive cruise control and lane centering. However, they did mention that the buttons on the steering wheel could be improved, as they are not very intuitive.
